iOS & Mobile Engineer · SDE 2
I'm Nikhil — a mobile engineer with 4+ years building high-traffic consumer apps across iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, Combine), React Native, and Kotlin Multiplatform. I work on the things that move the needle: performance, conversion, and engagement, backed by A/B testing, CI/CD automation, and server-driven UI.
I build consumer mobile apps used by millions, with a focus on iOS. Over the last four years I've shipped features end to end across Meesho, Licious, and now Quince — from server-driven UI components and launch-time optimizations to A/B testing frameworks and deep linking infrastructure.
I like the work that compounds: experimentation frameworks that let teams make data-driven decisions, CI/CD pipelines that shorten release cycles, and reusable components that accelerate every feature after them. I've also worked across the platform divide with Kotlin Multiplatform and React Native, sharing logic without compromising the native feel.
I graduated from IIIT Allahabad with a B.Tech in Information Technology, and I got my start in open source contributing security checks to OWASP ZAP.
Built an experimentation framework at Quince with customer segment-based personalization, letting the team make data-driven product decisions on the shop experience.
Integrated Xcode Cloud to run continuous integration and deployment for native iOS and React Native from a single monorepo at Licious, cutting manual effort and accelerating release cycles.
Cut app launch time by 2.7 seconds at Meesho by parallelizing launch animations with configuration API calls and optimizing homepage loading.
Used KMM to make Meesho's Android analytics module reusable on iOS, sharing core logic across platforms while keeping each app native.
Integrated a grocery vertical into Meesho's iOS app using WebView with JS bridges. The feature went on to contribute 10% of daily orders.
Contributed DOM inspection support for detecting DOM-based XSS, plus checks for web cache deception attacks and bulk import of attack payloads.
A full-stack e-commerce platform for selling paintings, with user and admin auth, a shopping cart, Razorpay checkout, and Cloudinary image storage. Live in production.
Active contributor (2,000+ commits) to an open-source one-command installer that turns any machine into a private AI server: local LLM inference, chat UI, voice, agents, RAG, and image generation across NVIDIA, AMD, Apple Silicon, and Intel Arc.
A personal collection of iOS interview preparation material — Swift concepts, data structures, and system design notes drawn from real mobile engineering work. (Description to confirm.)
A travel planning platform with a personalized itinerary planner, destination wiki, group planning, real-time chat, and shared expense tracking. Built on the MERN stack with Google Maps and Best Time APIs.
A Node.js app that synchronizes video playback among multiple users in real time, with account management and a shared viewing session.
I'm open to interesting mobile engineering roles and collaborations. Email is the fastest way to reach me.
